Pre-orders for our new LP have officially gone live.
Here is the deal:
The record is limited to 300 (hand numbered) copies cut to transparent wax at 45RPM.
The first 50 pre-orders each come with a one of a kind photo taken by our longtime pal, Tony Galloro. Also included with the first 50 pre-orders is a 12”x12” screened art print by the wonderful Andy Schmidt of Starman Press.
All pre-orders come with an advanced stream of the album and a digital download card.
To celebrate the pre-orders going live, Maximum Ames posted a promo video of sorts culled from the band’s home movies. The video was shot while working on the new album, when a crazy storm hit Cedar Rapids and caused us to lose power in the studio. We had to postpone recording for a day and spend the remainder of that time playing Atari 2600 at Greg’s Dad’s house in Marion, IA.
April 26th (this Friday) we will be playing the record release show for the Autodramatics debut LP.
Autodramatics are an Iowa supergroup of sorts, fronted by Andy Caffrey, who was a member of the Horrors (seminal slew garage rock band that was on In The Red before it was cool to be on In The Red). This album is super bad ass. If you’re into rock & roll and don’t pick this up, you’re missing out.
April 26th - GABES - Iowa City, Iowa. w/ The Autodramatics, Brooks Strause and the Gory Details + Cracka Don.
